Abdominal (tummy) pain is actually pretty common and most of us may get pain in our tummy area from time to time. This pain may be sharp, squeezing, dull or vague and may be persistent or come and go. It can also start in one position and move around. It could indicate a problem inside the tummy and various treatments are available depending on the cause. There are some very common, self-limiting causes but some pains indicate a more serious problem that does need investigation and treatment.
