He specialises in primary, locally advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer. He has performed open surgery and also uses minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He is one of the few surgeons in the UK who is using the Intuitive Da Vinci Xi surgical robot to perform colorectal cancer surgery.

Mr Rasheed has a super-specialist interest in the diagnosis, assessment and management of patients with colorectal cancer.

He has performed over a thousand open, laparoscopic and robotic colorectal operations with a <0.05% 90-day mortality rate which places him in the
highest level of surgical practice.
